What a fabulous birthday treat, couldn't fault it. Superb relaxing facilities .magical views of the golf course. Staff so friendly especially Tracy the host with the most on reception . Alison is the best therapist, Great massage, lovely lady. The rooms are huge, just class with everything you need. We will be back. Well i am just off for my morning steam & swim now before breakfast overlooking the course. Thank you Formby hall for making my husband's birthday
Very nice hotel. Rooms well laid out. Staff friendly but not in your face all of the time. Bar food was well cooked and reasonably priced. Overall would happily stay again.
A beautiful place, lovely rooms and excellent food. Went a while ago on one of their excellent package offers and I'm returning soon.The spa is spacious and well maintained, with enough facilities to keep you interested for a while.The local open land and golf course attracts all sorts of local wildlife, with a crowd of ducklings being a highlight on our last visit. Fed them some watermelon from the continental breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.Can't wait to come back soon!The standard prices are definitely not what I would be willing to spend on a treat, but I cannot turn down their promotional package prices.
I am a very regular visitor to Formby Hall. Recently, the standards have started to rise again after a very questionable year or so. The service has definitely improved, as has the food and even the coffee seems to have. The staff are pleasant and better dress standards seem to be arriving. Much more elgant and professional environment, even the odd waitress is now wearing a tie. Makes the establishment just that little bit more classy. A*
Room was good, very comfy bed. Breakfast good choice and great staff. Dinner food poor quality and staff poor service and lack of attention to detail and guests, too busy chatting to each other. Spa staff and treatments very good. Reception staff pleasant and helpful.
