we celebrated my 70th Birthday here and a thoroughly enjoyable experience it was for all 7 of us. Excellent choices available on the menus, friendly, helpful staff, open fires, and a very pleasant environment. The Sparrowhawk was very busy & as a result service was a little slow; food freshly cooked to a high standard. There's a small playground next to the car-park, including a tractor to sit, plus a 5 mile walk that visitors can take to build an appetite or to work off their meals. on Well worth a visit.
Had a good lunchtime meal here. Choices were good as was the service provided by the staff. Definitely worth a return visit.
Very nice, pleasant staff. Quite expensive on main meals compared to others so we stick to light bites. Atmosphere calm average age 50 yrs and above.
After walking from Liverpool to Southport we decided to stop off at your place to grab some well deserved food and a nice cold beer. The service we got was brilliant and Chloe who served us couldn't have done anything more for us. Thank you
Came before Christmas on group outing .The set meal was very good.Came with my daughter today and was disappointed.The roast pork on a bun could have done with a bit of stuffing as the bit of rocket did nothing to add to the taste. Some side salad would have been nice.....and I don't think the chips were home made.The ambience was good though.Marion
